By calendar month we mean the first day to the last day of a month, that is, a whole month. The term is thus used specifically for a type of notice period.
If you terminate an agreement one month, then your last day in your rental property will be on the last day of the next month.
Scenario: Tenant terminates agreement in August, that means that the tenant’s last day in the apartment will be 30th of September.
